Karina's atmospheric landscapes are often mystical, sometimes textured and always colourful and her show here at Cromford Gallery features trees and woodland inspired landscapes.
“With a passion for walking, a love of the hills and the calling of the sea I am never short of inspiration and always have about 6 paintings on the go as oils take so long to dry”
Since moving from the comercial Gallery Studio 61 Holloway after 11 years of being open to the public , new doors have opened for Karina including allowing her time to facilitate Children’s Writing and Illustrating Workshops for The National Trust at Sudbury Hall’s National Museum of Childhood and within the community. Karina is currently writing and illustrating two new children’s books, both set within The Peak District
Karina is also Purple of Purple and Grey Art Consultancy who are the Regional Coordinators for Derbyshire SAA and helps co run an Art Group and Painting Workshops, as well as running the Children’s Holiday Art Club at Tansley Village Hall.
The gallery will be showing Karinas work Wed - Sun 10 - 5 pm throughout May.
