We love this time of year here in Cromford and this our fourth Christmas we will again be inviting you to late night shop with us on the 2nd and 9th December till 8pm. Within Cromford Village itself, a range of independent sellers have opened shops including delis, chocolates, coffee shops and of course old favourites Scarthin Books along with a variety of restaurants and public houses. It makes for a great day out. Not forgetting that the fabulous Cromford Mill and Wharf are five minutes away too with Santas special trips on the canal boat Birdswood.
Our Christmas exhibition is by gallery owner Martin Sloman who is again joined by local artist Ruth Gray. http://ruthgrayimages.net
This year Ruth will be showing a variety of new work from the past year including many local scenes and works on paper. Martin has a collection of stunning watercolours. Together they will be hosting their annual Christmas Open Day with wine, mince pies and non-alcoholic mulled wine for the drivers. Please feel free to drop in anytime December 17th 10-5pm.
As it is Christmas we are featuring more than one maker, we have a variety of gifts catering to many wide-ranging tastes. All our gifts are made locally and are of the highest quality.
